Joyce with daughters Linda (me) and Brynn beside Mom's snow sculpture pooch

Mom didn't ever bore us with a conventional snowman, but sculpted dogs, bears, and a princess in a ball gown while we stayed warm and toasty inside, watching our wonderful mom entertain and amuse us through the picture window. Circa 1950.

This is my beautiful mother, Joyce, as a Senior at South High School in Salt Lake City.

Beautiful, vibrant, talented and creative, a popular coed, and her favorite classes were art and drafting!

This is my cute Grandma Edith!

A beautiful tall woman of Swedish ancestry, beautifully attired with hat, heels, and handbag. Love this wonderful woman, my mother Joyce's mom.

There are roses in my attic!

Wonderfully angled attic addition with sewing nook and bedroom beyond. Taken at an estate sale.

Cat in My Kitchen? Meet Flat Cat!

I am allergic to cats, but not this one!

Borden's and Pyrex and Hot Pads hanging out with strainers and spatulas and pie crust doo-hickeys!

There's always something on display to make you smile.
